On Wednesday, August 16, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin met with members of the «Keleshek» Youth Council representing the football team of the Federation of Trade Unions.
The team was created by the Youth Council in 2021 in order to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the corporate unity of trade union organizations, as well as popularize the trade union movement. Today, trade union football players take part in the AFL championships (Astana Football Leagues).
The Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, welcoming young trade activists, highly appreciated the potential and sporting achievements of trade union youth.
Satybaldy Dauletalin noted the importance of creating conditions for the harmonious development of young people, their self-realization in the profession, creativity, physical culture, and sports and recalled that within the framework of modernization and reform of trade union activities, special emphasis is placed on strengthening work with young people.
“Working youth is the future of the country. The Federation of Trade Unions has a system of Youth Councils. Today, one-third of the Federation of Trade Unions are young people, so we are building our activities taking into account the needs of young workers. The Federation of Trade Unions attracts active youth to conduct socially significant and sporting events. And today this experience allows us to really build a system of youth policy, popularize the image of successful working youth and promote the idea of developing mass sports by your example,” said Satybaldy Dauletalin.
Today, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan is already developing the youth movement at the international level – the Youth Council of the SPECA has been established, international futsal tournaments for the Cup of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian countries “CTUCA CUP” are held annually with the participation of trade union teams of national trade union centers of the SPECA countries.
“Trade unions always support a healthy, active lifestyle and the development of mass sports. The tournament is aimed at popularizing and developing futsal among trade union workers of the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian countries, promoting a healthy lifestyle, attracting trade union members of the countries of the region to regular physical education and sports. In addition, this event became a vivid example of friendship, support, and solidarity of fraternal peoples – members of trade unions of Central Asian countries,” Satybaldy Dauletalin stressed.
The head of the FTURK, speaking about plans for further development of mass sports in trade unions, noted that the Federation of Trade Unions intends to initiate international tournaments within the framework of the Organization of Trade Unions of Turkic Countries, established in July this year with the participation of national trade union centers of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
Speaking for the creation of favorable conditions for labor socialization, youth activists thanked the leadership of the Federation of Trade Unions for their special attention to the problems of young workers, as well as for assistance in the development of working youth both in sports and in professional activities.
The young people shared their vision of further popularization of the trade union movement through the development of mass sports and strengthening the health of workers, and also discussed plans for the upcoming championship.
Concluding the meeting, Satybaldy Dauletalin wished the union athletes success and new sports victories.
“The dedication and hard work of young professional activists is worthy of the highest respect and is a worthy example for all Kazakhstani youth,” the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan added.
Recall that the youth football team of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the champion of the 1st league of the OFL season 2022, the vice-champion of the First tournament in futsal of the SPCA, as well as the champion of the Second tournament in futsal of the SPCA.
