As part of the FTURK educational marathon, another online training seminar on topical issues of trade union work was held with the participation of the professional asset of Shymkent and Turkestan region.
The first speaker of the seminar was Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Uteshev.
As part of his speech, he presented project management standards, planning horizons to the participants with concrete examples, and also told about the sequence of processes examples of project charter.
Sherzod Pulatov, Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Support and International Cooperation of the FTURK, shared the skills of alternative labor dispute resolution with the participants. The lecturer presented a course on mediation in the resolution of social and labor conflicts.
“In 2018, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at reducing conflict in society by resolving disputes and conflicts out of court. As a result, Reconciliation Centers have been opened in 17 regions of the republic on the basis of territorial associations of trade unions, which today carry out activities to resolve labor disputes with the participation of professional mediators, and a Legal clinic is also functioning,” Sherzod Pulatov said.
The chief specialist of the Professional Center of the Kyzylorda region, Mayra Boranbayeva, acquainted her colleagues with the basic principles of trade unions and the experience of regulating labor relations. She placed special emphasis on the new norms of trade union legislation concerning the activities of trade union organizations.
Mayra Boranbayeva noted that one of the main links in the protection of social and labor rights and interests of employees is the primary trade union organization.
“The collective agreement is the basis of the relationship between the employer and employees. This document, together with the social partner represented by the employer, reflects all measures of social support for employees. As for the regional level, all social support measures should be reflected in trilateral agreements at the regional level. At the republican level, all these norms are reflected in the General Agreement,” she said.
Recall that since the beginning of this year, 243 training seminars have been held in the Federation of Trade Unions and its member organizations, covering more than 9 thousand trade union members.
