February 6, the first deputy chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan Birzhan Nurymbetov met with representatives of the Fund. F. Ebert: with the regional director of the Foundation in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Henriette Kiefer, the research associate of the Foundation Artem Korchagin, the head of the office in Astana Zauresh Shutova.
The meeting discussed issues of mutual cooperation, holding joint seminars to strengthen the legal literacy of workers and employers. Some aspects of resolving labor disputes and conflicts, safety and labor protection, gradual improvement of social standards.
FPRK and FFE have experience of sustainable cooperation. In the period from 2015 to 2017 years held joint events of the Federation and the Foundation in various regions of Kazakhstan, seminars on conflictology, on social dialogue through collective negotiations, on the regulation of labor disputes and conflicts.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue active cooperation in the field of legal awareness.
