On the site of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs of Akmola region “Atameken” was held a meeting with the President’s adviser of JSC “State Social Insurance Fund”, Svetlana Ferho, with the aim of raising awareness on the issues of social security, compulsory social insurance, repayment of arrears in social contributions and activation of the provision of public services for the purpose of social payments.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, heads of branch trade unions and labour collectives of social institutions were present.
In her speech, Svetlana Ivanovna spoke about the project being developed by the government on the introduction of a single social payment for the category of the population employed in the informal sector of the economy and self-employed.
The trade unions of the region raised issues related to the expansion of social fund payments; they should not be only related to risks but also to compensatory and social payments. The meeting was fruitful; participants were interested in questions from the sphere of labor relations and pension provision.
