On August 25, 2018 in Aktau city a meeting of the regional tripartite commission on social partnership and regulation of social and labour relations under the chairmanship of the first Deputy mayor of Mangistau region S.K. Amangaliyev were held during which a regional agreement was signed between the Akimat of Mangistau region, the territorial union of Trade Unions “trade union center of Mangistau region” and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Mangistau region for 2018 – 2020.
The meeting of the Regional Tripartite Commission was also attended by heads of enterprises and representatives of the state bodies and associations’ chairs. A. Inkarov, head of the Labour Department of the Mangistau region, noted that since the beginning of the year at the region enterprises had been registered 33 industrial accidents that affected 41 workers, 4 of them fatally and 3 group accidents with 11 victims. The analysis of accidents shows that the highest level of injuries by industry is admitted at the enterprises of oil and gas industry as well as in the construction industry.
