On September 28, the opening ceremony of the Republican Forum of Labor Youth of the Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of industry and primary trade unions was held at the “Merke” sanatorium in the Zhambyl region.
The main purpose of the Forum is to popularize the working professions, increase the prestige of the Labor Person, whose work creates the material benefits of the whole society.
The Chairman of the FTURK Bakhytzhan Abdіrayim, opened and gave a speech to the participants. According to the head of the FTURK, today the working youth of Kazakhstan still remains without proper attention.
We must actively involve young people in the wider activities of trade unions. As you know, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the project “100 New Faces of Kazakhstan” announced a competition “Labor Man: New Face of Kazakhstan” for trade union workers. I am sure that representatives of working youth can become our candidates! ”- noted Bakhytzhan Abdіrayim.
Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov, Mayor of the Zhambyl Region Askar Myrzakhmetov, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Mynbay and Gennady Shipovskikh, General Director of “Kazphosphate” LLP, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan Mukash Iskandirov, Acting Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the MSD RK Askhat Oralov; Chairman of the National Chamber of Education and Innovation Murat Abenov; also well-known experts in social and labor relations will take part in the Forum.
“We intend to pay special attention to working youth. Today at this Forum we want to find out the problematic issues of working youth, step up them to work with trade unions, find ways to jointly resolve issues.
According to the Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Igor Rogov, “For us, competitive personnel are especially important – talented young people. The Foundation of the First President on a regular basis holds contests for young journalists, writers, poets, photographers, and IT specialists. Annually dozens of outstanding representatives of culture and science are becoming laureates of the Foundation”.
Mayor of Zhambyl region Askar Myrzahmetov told about what steps are being taken by the regional authorities to attract young people to the labor sphere.
It should be noted that the Forum began its work on September 27 and, as FTURK Deputy Chairman Yerlan Sairov noted: “The School of Trade Union Leadership”, opened with the participation of the FTURK, is the first comprehensive educational project in Kazakhstan aimed at improving the efficiency of trade unions. The first graduation of this School has already taken place in various regions of Kazakhstan, where 67 leaders of primary and industrial trade union organizations have been trained. ”
“We are impressed by the fact that the Federation has announced its share in the framework of the project “100 new faces of Kazakhstan”. Labor people should take a worthy place in the system of our social values” – said Murat Abenov.
The presentations and master classes of representatives of the scientific and applied sector were very informative for young trade union leaders: Chairman of the IPO “Zhastar Uni”, Member of the Council for Youth under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the SMM with DACSI Dauren Babamuratov, Chairman of the “Bolashak” movement Talgat Zhanisbai, Doctor PhD, associate professor of KAZGUU, CEO of “Academy of labor relations” Bibigul Nurasheva and others.
According to Dauren Babamuratov, the project “100 New Faces” must be joined by working people, those “who have accomplished a real feat or are doing it daily, overcoming obstacles, life difficulties, pain and fear”.
Today, also after the main part of the republican forum, a session was held on raising the social standard of society, moderated by the chairman of the TATU Zhambyl region Meirambek Tulepbergen. The participants of the Republican forum of working youth, adopted the Merken Resolution, which consists of seven points.
Within the framework of the motivational and strategic sessions, practical thematic trainings, master classes, team building, etc. were held.
The forum is an important tool to increase the socialization of working youth, will contribute to the attractiveness of technical labor – as the main trend of the social and labor sphere of the next decade.
