Maulen Ashimbaev held a meeting of the National Coalition of Democratic Forces “Kazakhstan-2050” in Astana in support of the Head of State’s Address “Growth of Kazakhstan Welfare: Increasing Income and Quality of Life.” The members of the NCDF “checked the time” and determined the specific mechanisms of participation in the implementation of the new strategic document of the country. NCDF “Kazakhstan-2050” is the most authoritative and representative dialogue platform of leading political parties and public associations, expressing the interests of more than 6.5 million citizens of Kazakhstan on the most key issues of state development.
The event was attended by the chairman of the Democratic Party “Ak Zhol” Azat Peruashev, the secretary of the Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan Zhambyl Akhmetbekov, the deputy chairman of the political party “Birlik” Tolegen Kuanyshev, the first deputy chairman of the People’s Democratic Party “Auyl” Tolymbek Gabdilashimov, the chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken” Ablai Myrzakhmetov, chairman of the National Academy of Engineering, deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Zhumagulov, chairman of the Federation and the trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Abdraim, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of NGOs and others.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Coalition, the First Deputy Chairman of the Nur Otan Party, Maulen Ashimbayev. In his speech, he noted that the Message of the Head of State to the People of Kazakhstan “Growth of Kazakhstan Welfare: Improving Incomes and Quality of Life” is a conceptual strategic document that lays the foundations for social modernization in the coming years.
– The message has a pronounced social character. In this document, the Head of State raises the most pressing issues that have recently troubled the people of Kazakhstan, who were talked about in social networks, in the media, and discussed in society. The Message provides for specific measures to address them. These are issues of increasing household incomes, regulating the housing sector, limiting natural monopolies tariffs, the quality of roads, lending to SMEs, financial stability, and many others. All of them are reflected in the Message, which proposes concrete, clear measures to address them in the coming period, said Maulen Ashimbaev.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Nur Otan Party stressed that the proposals and measures set forth in the Address of the Head of State are the essence of social modernization, which in turn is an integral part of the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan.
“We all know that the main goal of modernization is the entry of Kazakhstan into the top 30 most developed countries of the world. In this context, we can say that the main goal of social modernization, which is carried out in the country and the Message gives a powerful impetus, is to approximate the level and quality of life in Kazakhstan to the social standards of OECD countries, that is, the most developed countries in the world, said the moderator.
Maulen Ashimbaev also expressed confidence that in the future all members of the NCDF will actively cooperate, work together and take an active part in the implementation of the new Message of the Yelbasy.
– It is very important that all political and social forces unite around this document, that we actively participate in explaining the provisions set forth in the Message, together with the Government develop effective mechanisms for their implementation, exercise public control to ensure full, high-quality and timely implementation of the instructions of the Yelbasy. There is no doubt that the implementation of the Message will make it possible to improve the lives of Kazakhstanis, and this is the main task that all political parties and public organizations that are members of the NCDF are working to solve, – said Maulen Ashimbaev.
During the meeting, members of the National Coalition of Democratic Forces “Kazakhstan-2050”, among which there are also deputies of the Parliament, representatives of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, professional and public associations, expressed their views on the promulgation of the new Address of the Head of State. Following the meeting of the NCDF, the Appeal to Kazakhstanis was made, which reflected support for new reforms and a call for civil society to take an active part in the discussion and implementation of the new strategic document.
