The trade union Center of the city of Astana organized a meeting of the trade union activist of the capital with representatives of a single administrator and operator of all financial and information flows of the pension system of the Republic of Kazakhstan – UAPF JSC. The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Social Insurance Fund JSC, the city branch of the NJSC SC Government for Citizens and the Department of the Committee of Labor, Social Protection and Migration in the city of Astana.
They discussed innovations in the system of accumulation of pensions, the size of payments of pensions, the method of calculation, the financial risks of managing pension savings and other topical issues of the pension system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, a lively dialogue on the social security system took place. Trade union workers were interested in questions of the types of social benefits, on how to receive benefits in case of loss of income, in connection with child care, on the calculation of the amount of social contributions, as well as on the need to control the payment of social contributions, etc.
The meeting’s speakers explained to the participants about the work on the principle of “one window”, about the reforms of the pension system, the purpose of which is to improve the quality and increase the number of public services in electronic format.
In order to further enhance the role of social dialogue, development and improvement of the pension system and social insurance, it was proposed to continue similar meetings with each branch trade union, their member organizations and employees of primary organizations.
