In November 16th, 2018 under the trade union center chairmanship of the chairman Nurakaev E.E., was held an active trade unionists’ working meeting of the North Kazakhstan region, to which were invited representatives of the state labor inspection of the akimat of the North Kazakhstan region, managing director for marketing of the “Shuchinsky” Zhusupova K.E., chairmen of industry and local trade unions, primary trade union organizations.
Issues on the protocol instructions of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sagintayev B.A. from 25.10.2018 were reviewed raising wages to low-paid categories of workers; about the work of trade unions to make additions in industry agreements and collective bargaining agreements; about prevention and actions for reducing industrial injuries at the region’s enterprises; about cooperation with JSC Sanatorium “Shchuchinsky” for the improvement of workers and the implementation of sanatorium vouchers.
From 25.10.2018, on the first question about the execution on the protocol order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sagintayev B.A., E.Nurakaev appeared on the increase in wages for low-paid categories of workers. He brought into focus that within the framework of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nazarbayev N.A. “Growth of the welfare of Kazakhs: improving incomes and quality of life” chairmen of regional branch trade unions, trade union committees need to intensify work in this direction and due to the increase in the minimum wage of low-wage workers to 42.5 thousands tenge from January 1st, 2019, ensure that the current balance of the size (proportions) of wages of employees of organizations, while not allowing reductions in the number or staff of workers.
On the issue of the work of trade unions on making additions to agreements and collective agreements, presented Golenkova L.P., a specialist of the North Kazakhstan Committee, spoke on the need to make changes and additions to agreements and collective agreements regulating the wage system of workers in terms of wage increases and prepared draft supplementary agreements to regional and sectoral agreements and collective agreements, provided to the trade union to initiate and amend the existing documents of the social partnership.
About prevention and activities for reducing industrial injuries at the enterprises of the region were made by the specialist of the trade union Center of the North Kazakhstan region Turalinov Zh.N., and the effectiveness of work councils for safety and labor protection, who gave an analysis of accidents following the results of 10 months of the current year, focused on the need to take effective measures to prevent occupational injuries, to intensify the work of technical inspectors and the effectiveness of the production’s activities and occupational safety and health councils.
About the relationship and cooperation with the JSC Sanatorium “Shuchinsky”, the managing director of marketing for the Sanatorium, Sh. Ye. Zhusupova, informed the participants about the sanatorium, acquainted them with the conditions for the purchase of vouchers and price policy.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Trade Union Center E.Nurakaev, aimed the trade union committee of the region to further work on the implementation of the instructions of the Head of Nation.
