In Tashkent, a Memorandum of cooperation and understanding was signed between the trade Union of workers of medium and small businesses of the Republic of Kazakhstan “YNTYMAQ” and the Republican Council of the trade Union of workers of consumer goods production, trade and service organizations of Uzbekistan.
Highly appreciating the Memorandum, Chairman of the trade Union “YNTYMAQ” Kairakbai Zhanabekov stressed that for both trade unions it will help in their activities aimed at protecting the labor and social rights of workers.
“We are deeply satisfied with the signing of such a significant document between our organizations,” said Ulugbek Mukhamedov, Chairman of the trade Union of workers of consumer goods production, trade and service organizations of Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the signed Memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the following areas:
— exchange of information on the experience of trade Union organizations in protecting the rights and interests of workers;
— exchange of delegations of representatives of the parties;
— organization and holding of conferences, forums, consultations, seminars, symposia, round tables and other joint events;
— organization of tourist trips to historical places.
It is also worth noting that the Republican Council of the trade Union of workers in the production of consumer goods, trade and service organizations of Uzbekistan includes 3050 primary organizations, more than 250 thousand members of the Union.
