August 14, 2019, representatives of the akimat of Nur-Sultan, the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the trade Union center of the capital and the OF “Kazakhstan Sports And Recreation Society of trade Unions” (hereinafter-KSOOP) met with the builders of the Corporation “NAK” Nur-Sultan on the site of the housing complex.
During the meeting, the issues of equipment, labor safety at the construction sites of the Corporation, the formation of a special culture of work of the capital’s construction enterprises were touched upon.
In his opening speech, Chairman of the trade Union center of Nur Sultan Tastanbek Esentayev congratulated everyone on the last Day of the Builder in the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke about the state of Affairs at the capital’s construction sites. The Chairman gave explanations on the study of issues by Kazakh construction companies in order to reduce and prevent accidents in the workplace and urged to strengthen safety measures at work.
The state inspector for labor of the city and the chief specialist on safety and labor protection of the LCD under construction provided statistical data for the first half of 2019, which indicated the number of accidents and data on non-compliance with safety at work by workers.
During this meeting, the Vice-President of the PSRC Bakhytzhan Eszhanov read a report on the topic: “Effective methods of improving the health of workers” through the impact of exercise, sports and “physical culture breaks” on the second, fifth and seventh hours of working time. In these time intervals, it is scientifically proven that production efficiency is improved by several times.
