It has become a good tradition of trade unions to hold the annual charity event “Road to School.” The aim of the action is to provide material and other assistance to students from low-income, large families, orphans and children left without parental care in the run-up to the beginning of the school year.
On August 22, 2019, representatives of the North Kazakhstan region Trade Union Center visited the Children’s Village of Family type at the invitation of the city branch of the Education and Science Workers’ Union.
The visit of the trade union delegation coincided with the 18th anniversary of the opening of this unique institution. Over the years, the Children’s Village has given a start to life to 60 graduates who do not forget and visit their families and caregivers. There are currently 45 children between the ages of 6 and 18 living in the family-type Children’s Village.
Acting Chairman of the NKR Golenkova L.P. and Chairman of the City Committee of the Education Workers’ Union, a member of the Board of Trustees of the children’s village Makisheva S.K. Guests congratulated the children on their birthday. the coming school year and wished them a successful study, achievement of set goals and convincing victories in life.
The holiday was accompanied by bright concert numbers prepared by the guys themselves. Former graduates organized and held “Fun Starts” between teams of educators and children. Boys and girls will remember the performances of animators for a long time. And the event ended with a collective tea party with sweets. The guys got a lot of pleasure and a positive attitude. The trade unions provided material assistance to prepare students for school.
The “Road to School” campaign continues in all primary trade union organizations of the region.
Each of us can be civilly active in providing possible targeted assistance in preparing for children’s education, attention and real care for each child, so that his road to school was the best and happiest!
