The chairman of the FPRK took part in a ceremony dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan in Shymkent.
In Shymkent, a solemn event was held to celebrate the Day of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan with the participation of more than three hundred representatives of labor collectives and primary trade union organizations, social partners, and veterans of the regional trade union movement.
Welcoming the participants, the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions noted that giving the holiday official status testifies to the increased role of trade unions in addressing social and labor issues.
“The important role of Kazakhstan’s trade unions is noted by Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, calling them the pillar of stability, the basic element of social and labor relations. The high trust of Elbasy on the one hand is responsibility, on the other hand, it is an incentive to work for the result.
In his Address, the President of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Kemelevich Tokaev, called for strengthening the interaction between the authorities and civil society. And this is a direct signal to action for us – the trade unions, as the country’s largest public organization, ”Eraly Tugzhanov emphasized.
On Trade Union Day, Letters of Gratitude on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, as well as trade union awards were awarded to the best trade union members, trade union activists and social partners of the Federation in Turkestan region.
