Chairman of the FPRK Eraly Tugzhanov met with the regional akim Archimedes Mukhambetov.
During the meeting, the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed between the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of the Kostanai region.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to take joint measures and develop agreed positions on pressing issues of implementing social initiatives, including in the sphere of regulation of social and labor relations.
At the meeting, the current situation in the social and labor sphere of the region was discussed and a number of joint tasks in the framework of social partnership were outlined.
“The protection of the labor rights of workers is carried out primarily at workplaces by trade unions of enterprises and organizations. We are faced with the paramount task of increasing the number of primary trade union organizations as the main primary link of the trade union movement, ”the FPRK Chairman emphasized.
Another important area is the revitalization of collective bargaining.
In general, good performance is noted in the Kostanay region – at 6,675 collective bargaining agreements, or 65.4%, in the current 10 614 enterprises.
The necessity of strengthening control in the field of the prevention of occupational injuries and occupational diseases was also noted.
“It is especially important for trade unions to seek the realization by employers of social guarantees, preventive, rehabilitative and recreational measures enshrined in collective agreements,” said Yeraly Tuganzhanov.
The meeting participants also noted the importance of creating these councils as one of the tools of independent public control in enterprises.
“Today in the affiliates of the Federation of Trade Unions there are 12,598 production councils on safety and labor protection. The number of technical inspectors for labor protection is 18,810 people. In Kostanay region 858 production councils operate, which makes up 59% of the total number of primary trade union organizations. At the same time, only 8% of the region’s enterprises are covered by production councils, ”added Yeraly Tugzhanov.
In his opinion, this is one of the prerequisites for high accident rates in the region.
The Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions expressed his gratitude to the regional administration for the fruitful interaction on all issues in support of the Labor Man.
“I am sure that today’s meeting will be another important step in achieving our goals and will help to find new approaches to joint solution of pressing problems,” said Yeraly Tuganzhanov.
On the same day, the Chairman of the FPRK held a reception of citizens, during which a wide range of issues of concern to the public of the Kostanay region was considered.
A group of employees of private preschool educational organizations working on a state order to raise their salaries equivalently with state organizations turned to Yeraly Tugzhanov.
The parent community of the region initiated the creation of parent councils in the cities and districts of the regions under the auspices of the Federation of Trade Unions.
The possibility of an internship in the Federation of Trade Unions and its structural associations was discussed with young specialists.
