Within the framework of the II– Republican forum of technical inspectors for labor protection of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan: “Safe labor is the foundation of the overall development of society” consisted of a meeting of technical inspectors with labor protection, social protection and migration of the MLSPZ of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was held in the “Open Microphone” format with the participation of members of the Council of Labor and Social Organizations of the MTSZSN Yerbol Nurgaliyev, head of the department of labor protection and social protection of the MTSZZ RK and Sarsen Duysenov, who have socio-economic relations and social obligations of the FPRK Gulnara Journalists and technical inspectors labor protection from different regions of the country.
During the meetings, Yerbol Nurgaliyev noted that the issues of ensuring safety and labor protection are one of the priority issues of the departments.
“A project office has been created in the government, where there are 6 projects of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan. This issue was considered with the participation of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Sarsen Duysenov spoke about the work of state labor inspectors, grades and problematic issues.
One of them is the insufficient number of labor inspectors from Kazakhstan.
So, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, only 255 labor inspectors work in the country, and the number of existing legal entities is 280 thousand.
As the head of the department said, the labor inspectorate provides 25 thousand jobs and 10 thousand inspections at enterprises. Do not pass verification.
“The number of labor inspectors is very small, and the role of technical inspectors for labor protection is important here,” Sarsen Duysenov opened.
Speaking about the work of technical inspectors for labor protection, the Chairperson of the FPRK Committee for Social and Economic Relations and Social Security, Gulnara Zhumageldieva, said that today 18 thousand technical inspectors operate in the republic, who are increasingly exposed to labor safety violations.
Participants should openly discuss issues such as advanced training and labor protection inspections, problems on the part of employers, injuries, issues of applying mixed responsibility to employees, etc.
At the end of the meeting, participants express their intention to strengthen the protected rights of workers.
