Іn the city of Nur-Sultan, a meeting was held between the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yelzhan Birtanov, with the Chairman of the Public Union “Industrial Trade Union of Workers in Medicine and Related Industries“ QazMed ”Aliakpar Matishev.
During the meeting, the Industry Agreement was first signed between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Public Association “The Trade Union of Medical Workers and Related Industries“ QazMed ”and the National Chamber of Health for 2020-2022.
It should be noted that in August 2019, the Public Union “Sectoral Trade Union of Medical Workers and Related Industries“ QazMed ”was accepted into the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a member organization.
Thanks to the directing actions of the FPRK, this important legal act was prepared and signed in the shortest possible time, giving substantial legal and social guarantees to employees of medical and related organizations.
In particular, the Sectoral Agreement stipulates obligations of the parties to increase wages to employees of healthcare entities financed under the guaranteed volume of medical care through the system of compulsory medical insurance, to retain rights to increase the duration of paid annual leave and to receive health benefits for employees of former republican state institutions transferred to enterprises engaged in public-private entrepreneurial activity and many other important social guarantees h enam union.
The leaders of the Parties also agreed to implement a number of comprehensive measures, within the framework of social partnership, in order to implement joint, coordinated actions aimed at developing a system for protecting socio-economic and labor rights and interests of health care workers.
