KazTransOil JSC is engaged in transportation of oil and petroleum products through main pipelines and operation of the pipeline system. Ensuring safe working conditions for employees is a priority, and 2020 has been declared the Year of labor protection in KazTransOil JSC.
After the declaration of a state of emergency in the Republic of Kazakhstan, related to the Declaration by the World Health Organization of the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection as a pandemic, the company took all necessary measures to preserve the health of employees.
As part of the work of the rapid response headquarters, the company’s management, in agreement with the local professional Union of employees of South-Eastern structural divisions of KazTransOil JSC, represented by the Chairman, N. E. Pfeiffer, transferred some of the company’s administrative and managerial staff to a remote form of work. Preference was given to persons of retirement and pre-retirement age, employees with chronic diseases, single and large mothers, mothers raising children under the age of fourteen (a disabled child under eighteen), pregnant women, women with children under three years of age.
The company suspended training of employees outside the company and reformatted them to remote online mode, public and cultural events were canceled.
Since the work of KazTransOil JSC is carried out smoothly in the normal mode, additional safety and labor protection measures were taken: the company’s management, with the support of the local professional Union of employees of South-Eastern structural divisions of KazTransOil JSC, purchased and fully provided all divisions with antiseptics, protective masks, introduced an enhanced medical examination with mandatory temperature measurement, installed dispensers for treating hands with disinfectants, conducted enhanced disinfection in production premises and on the territory.
The company pays special attention to the safety of means of transporting employees to their places of work, where disinfection is carried out an enhanced mode. In accordance with the action Plan adopted by KazTransOil JSC to improve the social stability index, all incoming requests from employees to the administration and trade Union organizations are considered and resolved immediately.
