The labor collective of “Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov” LLP employs 1407 people, of which more than 76% — 1067 employees are members of the primary trade Union organization. Under the chairmanship of T. A. Chigvintseva, the trade Union Committee of the station is actively working, performing the protective function of employees.
Internal control over safety and labor protection is carried out by 17 technical labor protection inspectors elected by trade unions, who are members of the production Council.
At the initiative of the trade Union Committee, the meeting of the production Council of the partnership considered the issues of making changes to the rules for issuing special clothing and special shoes, reducing the time of wearing protective gloves and special shoes, and providing employees with additional workwear in excess of the norms provided for by industry standards.
On June 26, 2020, the Commission on amendments and additions to the collective agreement approved changes to Annex 4 “List of positions and professions entitled to receive free workwear, special shoes and other personal protective equipment” of the collective agreement of “Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov” LLP.
The result of the changes to the collective agreement, additional PPE in the form of a protective suit against high temperatures and the helmet got operators — inspectors in the boiler and the operators of generating units, protective suits UGC received by the shop employees and RST RTO, second sets of clothes were employees teplotransit shops.
For the first time in “Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov” LLP, a collective agreement between an employer and a trade Union for a period of five years was concluded in 2016.
This collective agreement established additional benefits and guarantees for employees in comparison with labor legislation: special breaks for employees working outdoors; additional social leave with pay; additional material assistance in the event of the death of an employee at work (in excess of the amount of damage established by law) in the amount of up to an annual salary of the deceased; additional norms for issuing workwear in excess of industry standards; material assistance for vacation; material assistance to women in connection with the birth of a child; monthly financial assistance to women on leave for child care up to 1 year; monthly financial support to retirees; medical and dental services; provided to Supplement sick leave in accordance with seniority in the company.
The station’s collective agreement was highly evaluated in the category “Best Collective agreement” in the field of large business, which received the highest award at the Republican contest of social responsibility of business “Paryz”.
Since 2016, the collective agreement of LLP “Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov” is constantly updated, at the initiative of the primary trade Union organization, changes and additions are made to it aimed at improving the welfare of the Working Person, this change is the sixth since the date of approval of the collective agreement.
