TRADE UNIONS OF NORTHERN KAZAKHSTAN SUPPORT THE INITIATIVES OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Today, at a joint session of the chambers of the Parliament, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered an annual Addressing message to the people of Kazakhstan with defining the priority goals of the country’s socio-economic development for the coming period.

The strategic document aroused wide interest among the trade union activists of the North Kazakhstan region primarily by its focus on improving the life and well-being of every citizen of our country.

The address of the Head of State touches on a wide range of issues of state financing, inflation, inefficient pricing and distribution of food products, the development of digitalization, improving the health and education system. The trade union activists were deeply grateful to the President’s decision to revise the minimum wage level from January 2021 which will directly affect more than one million employees. It should be noted that the issue of raising wages was repeatedly raised by the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Satybaldy Dauletalin who was considered in working commissions at all levels with the participation of trade unions.

It is believed that the citizens of Kazakhstan, as well as trade unions, will support the President in implementing his initiatives for the upcoming period of the country development.
