The next seminar, organized as part of the educational course of the Federation of Trade Unions, was held with the participation of professional activists of Atyrau and West Kazakhstan regions.

Opening the seminar, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Uteshev stressed the importance of the ongoing work to improve the professional skills of trade union personnel.

According to him, the exchange of trade union experience is a priority in the work of the Federation of Trade Unions in the framework of the implementation of the Strategy of the FTURK for 2020-2025.

“The topics presented by the speakers are based on practice. This is a very valuable experience of trade union work. The formation of a high level of legal culture among trade union personnel, trade union activists and trade union members themselves will allow improving the norms of collective agreements in the direction of improving the situation of employees,” the Deputy Chairman of the FTURK noted.

Speaking about the importance of developing social partnership, she urged trade union leaders to work carefully on the norms of collective agreements.

“Today, all trade union organizations need to master the advantages of a collective agreement. It is necessary to make full use of legislative opportunities to improve the position of employees in the documents of social partnership, one of which is the collective agreement,” Lyudmila Golenkova said.

According to her, a strong collective agreement has positive sides for both the employee and the employer.

The topic of regulation of labor relations was continued in her speech by the head of the Reconciliation Center “Tatulasu Ortalygy” of the Territorial Association of Trade Unions of Pavlodar region Marina Ivanova.
