At the meeting of the regional tripartite commission on social partnership and regulation of social and labor relations held in East Kazakhstan region, held online, three issues were considered. Chaired by Deputy akim of the region Shakarym Buktugutov, the commission approved the Work Plan of the East Kazakhstan Regional Tripartite Commission on Social Partnership for 2022, and also heard information about the measures taken to repay wage arrears and reduce arrears on pension contributions and social contributions at the enterprises of the region.
In his speech, Chairman of the territorial association of trade Unions of East Kazakhstan Region Temirbek Kasymzhanov focused the attention of social partners on the positive aspects of the current regional tripartite agreement, in which a number of issues found their positive resolution. These are the annual indexation of wages of workers in the real sector, the payment of health benefits to workers of unskilled labor in the public sector, the remuneration of public technical inspectors for labor protection, the monthly supplement of environmental benefits and the provision of annual additional paid leave to employees living and working in radiation risk zones, regardless of the availability of a “victim certificate” and more. Concluding his speech, Temirbek Kasymzhanov stressed that the main task of the social partners is the strict implementation of the provisions of the agreement by the parties, in accordance with the obligations assumed.
In addition, the commission considered and adopted decisions on the problems of the social and labor sphere concerning the repayment of wage arrears at enterprises in the region, as well as measures to reduce arrears on pension contributions and mandatory social contributions.
