As part of the campaign “How do you live primary?”, the chairman of the NGO “Local trade Union “Senim” of health care workers of Akmola region” Serik Kakenov met with the staff of the Bulandyn district hospital.
The meeting was held in a relaxed atmosphere, in the format of an open dialogue and discussion of the main areas of work of the primary trade union organization established at the district hospital.
During the meeting, Serik Kakenov familiarized the audience with the situation in the healthcare sector, spoke about the work done by the Local Trade Union “Senim” and the results achieved by the end of 2022, and also shared plans for 2023.
The participants discussed the issues of remuneration of health workers, surcharges for categories, benefits, health resort treatment, protection of the rights and interests of workers, as well as the role of trade unions in solving important tasks.
The results of the work for 2022 of the trade union organization at the district level were informed by the chairman of the PPO, general practitioner Zhansaya Tishmagambetova.
For active work in the trade union movement of the district hospital, Natalia Karpekina, a nurse, was awarded an honorary medal.
In conclusion, by a unanimous decision of the trade union members, a phthisiologist Marat Altybayev was elected chairman of the district hospital’s PPO, who has a long work experience not only directly in medicine, but also in the trade union, social and organizational movement of the district hospital.
Summing up the meeting, Serik Kakenov noted the importance of interaction between the employer and the trade union, and wished the primary organization of the trade union success in implementing the planned plans.
