“At this stage of trade union activity, it is necessary to organize the work of the conciliation commission, resolve, eliminate personal conflicts, increase the knowledge of professional assets in labor legislation.  To date, there are 7 inspectors working in the Mangystau region to resolve labor disputes and other issues. At all levels, we raise this issue, that there is a catastrophic shortage of personnel, and the number of appeals from enterprises comes in large numbers. Hence the untimely processing of appeals, which in the future leads to the most pressing issues, to illegal strikes. Where the main requirements are decent working conditions, timely and decent wages. Employers and employees need to be in close relationship, improve labor relations, conclude effective collective agreements,” the speaker noted.

The next lecturer of the seminar was the chief expert of the Trade Union Center of the Kyzylorda region, Mayra Boranbayeva. The topic of her speech was “Clarification of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on articles. Grounds for termination of the employment contract”. She elaborated on the most important changes and additions to the labor legislation. The participants of the meeting took an active part in the discussion of articles of laws, asked questions of interest. Topics such as paid leave, labor organization, working hours, wages, employee health protection and many other issues were touched upon.

In conclusion, the marathon participants noted that at the meeting they managed to expand their knowledge in the field of labor legislation, as well as analyze the legal technology for resolving collective labor disputes and improve their skills in working with legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Certificates were issued to all participants of the training seminar.
