The Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center for Social Interaction and Communications will open the School of Trade Leadership

Today the Memorandum of Cooperation and Cooperation between the Center for Social Interaction and Communications and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed

Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan ABDIRAYIM and Director General of the Center for Social Communication and Communications Erbol ISMAILOV signed a Memorandum of on Cooperation and Cooperation.

Cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum provides for the joint organization of training of trade unionists in the “School of Trade Union Leadership” at the Center for Social Interaction and Communications.

“We intend to comprehensively develop and improve the quality of the work of trade union organizations in Kazakhstan. Workers of trade unions must be socially active and legally competent. Within the framework of the Roadmap for the radical modernization of the trade union movement, we will strengthen the work on the quality and quantity of collective agreements, safety and labor protection, the activation of the work councils.  I think that together with the Center for Social Interaction and Communications of «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC we will establish close and fruitful cooperation that will have a positive impact on the entire trade union community» – said the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Abdirayim.

The document also suggests interaction in the field of monitoring and analysis of the situation at enterprises for the development of optimal mechanisms for improving social and labor relations in production teams.

«We initiated the opening of the School of Trade Union Leadership. Together with the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we will train trade union workers including at the enterprises of the «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC group of companies. Training will consist of several modules. In particular, we are talking about trade union management, legal and financial literacy, mediation and modern methods of personnel management, tools for internal and external communication. Of course, all this will improve the effectiveness of trade union organizations and the level of confidence in them among employees», said Yerbol ISMAILOV, Director General of the Center for Social Communication and Communications.

According to him, the launch of the first pilot groups will take place in March 2018 in Mangistau and Atyrau regions.

In addition, during the meeting the parties discussed measures to implement the tasks set and plans for further strengthening cooperation.
