The International Labour Organization training course is held in Turin

From 21 May to 25 May 2018, the Office of the International Labour Organization (ILO) for Eastern Europe and Central Asia is conducting a training course on the theme “The Future of the world of work”. The training takes place on the basis of the ILO International Training Centre in Turin, Italy.

From the Federation of Trade Unions of the RK in the program of the course takes part an advisor of chairman of the FTU of the RK Gulnara Zhumageldieva.

The main objectives of the course “The future of the world of work” is to increase the level of understanding of the driving forces and transformation factors occurring at work in Europe and Central Asia, to strengthen the capacity of trade unions to identify approaches and strategic activities that contribute to strengthening social dialogue at the national level on the future of the work environment.

The training course aims to increase the capacity of trade unions to assess the effectiveness of structures to expand trade union membership and to ensure that collective bargaining is extended to workers who are not in formal labour relations. These include new forms of employment, such as the provision of Internet-based services (platform economy), certain types of non-standard employment, and the work in the informal economy.
