On February 21, Chairman of the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abdirayim Bakytzhan Zharylkasynuly met with the chairmen of regional branch and local trade unions of West Kazakhstan region.
During the meeting, B. Abdirayym noted the role of 3 steps, which are the primary conditions for the organization of trade Union activities, namely: an employment contract between the employer and employees, the creation of trade unions in the workforce and the conclusion of collective agreements in the teams between the employer and employees, and stressed that in order to protect trade Union members, special attention will be paid to the need for training, education and training of trade Union personnel in accordance with changes in the requirements of the law and time.
Today in the ranks of trade unions of the region there are more than 900 trade Union organizations, more than 75 thousand trade Union members. The meeting was briefed on the activities of trade unions. In particular, such problematic issues in the field of education as the payment of benefits for sanatorium treatment of teachers, the restoration of the level of wages of primary school teachers, an increase in teachers ‘ wages by 30%, the approval of the 5th day working week for teachers were discussed.
Bakytzhan Zharylkasynuly paid special attention to the need for systematic work to modernize the activities of trade unions according to the requirements of the time and shared his vision of the mechanisms and methods of solving the tasks set before the trade unions.
